Water-supply system "Vodovod" a.d. Banja Luka manufactures and distributes approximately 1020 l/s of the water per 24 hours, or approximately 32 millions m3 per year. Water supply was significantly improved and losses were reduced from 49% to 37% by the system reconstruction in all segments with the help of the grants and our own financial resources from 1997 to 2000.
It is provided three-sided power supply for the water factory.
This water-supply network is regional, because it supplies water for the city of Banja Luka, the municipality of Celinac and part of the municipality of Laktasi (residential areas of Trn and Laktasi). Regional system "Vodovod" a.d. Banjaluka supplies the drinking water for approximately 181000 inhabitants.
Obligation to supply the consumers with the highly satisfactory quality of drinking water imposes on us the necessity of providing everyday analyses. The analyses of the unprocessed and manufactured water are done not only in its own laboratory but also in some other authorized institutions in the Republic of Srpska, Serbia and Croatia. The results of 12000 completed analyses in 2007
show that the quality of manufactured water complies with the standards issued in the Environmental Regulations.
